Although I dont get to eat it as much as I would like, I love good sushi! Unfortunately, grocery store sushi doesn't fall into the category of "good sushi" and 9 times out of 10 that is ususually what I get when I ask my husband to bring me some home. So I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to make a sushi cake.
The sushi board was a vanilla cake layered with lemon buttercream and lemon curd. The california and spicy tuna rolls were made out of little bites of vanilla cake and lemon buttercream.
